Oliver Hazard's Debut Album 34 N. River Out Today
New York, NY (Top40 Charts) Oliver Hazard, an emerging indie folk trio from Waterville, Ohio, have released their debut album 34 N. River. Culture Collide premiered the full-length, saying "Oliver Hazard capture something no city slicker could. At the music's center is a classic Americana spirit, combined with a humble folk tradition. On their debut album 34 N. River, the three part harmonies elude to some bluegrass leanings, while the entirely acoustic setup provides an intimate scene... there's a rustbelt edge - raw and unfiltered, it reveals that these guys have been witness to the oft forgotten, but much sought side to America many consider lost." Today's premiere follows a lively performance at the Paste studios in New York City and precedes an introductory tour across 15 cities of Ohio, to be announced.

Oliver Hazard tell us,"34 N. River is a collection of songs that represent the people and places we love. The album was recorded 'live' as a souvenir, ultimately capturing a moment in time-it could never be re-recorded in the same way. We are happy to get a chance to share our stories with you all."

Oliver Hazard will play two nights in New York City at Rockwood Music Hall, beginning this evening. Being the eagerly attended trio's NYC debut, tonight's show sold out in less than 24 hours. The band will go on to play Mountain Jam this Sunday followed by select dates with indie darlings Mt. Joy.

The band's emotively Midwestern music has earned attention from taste-making ears at FADER, Uproxx, YouTube Coffee Shop Blend and more. Lead single "Caesar Knows," racked up over 100,000 streams in its first month and scored the band slots at Bonnaroo and Mountain Jam. "Hey Louise" followed, earning praise from Uproxx as a"Light and thumping slice of folk-pop."

Mike Belazis, Griffin McCulloch, and Devin East are old friends playing music together for little more than the hell of it. Last year, the group won a fortuitously timed Facebook raffle for one song's worth of studio time. Instead of spending their unexpected prize on one track, Oliver Hazard played ten original songs straight through live, creating whatFADER calls "a folk-pop masterpiece" and the debut album to come.
