The Most Remarkable Double A-Side Single Of Our Times: George Swan Unleashes Jellyfish And Smelly Fish To Universal Acclaim (Probably)
New York, NY (Top40 Charts) Bluesier than Robert Johnson; more hip-thrusting than Elvis Presley; more riffs than Jimmy Page. George Swan achieves none of these and less. We proudly present one of the most significant musical happenings of the season, the historic pairing of George Swan's twin tours de force: "Jellyfish" and "Smellyfish".

The echo chamber fuzz bomb of "Jellyfish", topped with its organ solo, is a lightning bolt of drama The Rolling Stones could only dream of; "Smellyfish", the tender, heart-wrenching piano-led sibling, speaks directly to the listener's heart and wrings every drop of emotion from the cosmos:

"You asked me if I'd tried jellyfish,
I said, no, I didn't realise it was a dish"

"You said you got stung by one before,
The first time you saw one by the shore
The burn was so bad it made you cry
The vinegar helped
It made you smell like a cute little French fry"

Profound; astounding; words beyond meaning - some would say words without meaning. George is everyman. George is a gentleman. George is possibly Superman. This is an experience not to be missed, unless you absolutely have to.

Born in an unspecified swamp and raised by alligators an unclear number of years ago, the legend of George Swan is swathed in half-truths and mystery. What is known is that he moved to the small town of Steveston in British Columbia, Canada, at the age of 18. He found, gainful employment on the docks,
unloading fishing boats, his childhood affinity with water-based life clearly proving to be to his benefit. By 1997, the entire Canadian west coast fishing industry had collapsed. The one positive to come out of the calamity being two bands formed with other assorted misfits in life - The Rash and Patsy Decline. Now, George has emerged as an artist in his own right, with no fewer than three solo albums - it's swamp rock with a nourishing diet of beer and wild salmon.
