Duo Neil Frances Release New Single "Coming Back Around"
New York, NY (Top40 Charts) Rising LA-based duo Neil Frances have revealed their new single "Coming Back Around" as part of their upcoming Took A While EP (release date tba). The duo will be supporting Poolside on a string of tour dates in August and September, making stops in Los Angeles, Vancouver, Brooklyn and more. Before they head out on tour, they'll play KCRW's Summer Nights at LA's The Hammer on July 12th and supporting Unknown Mortal Orchestra on July 21st in Santa Ana.

Neil Frances about "Coming Back Around," "it explores the different personas we adopt in an effort to be taken seriously. In today's world, it's increasingly easy to project images of ourselves that might not reflect who we are. However, maybe we don't know who we truly are-instead coming back around to the idea that the only consistency is the eternal search for meaning".

Marc Gilfry and Jordan Feller met in 2012 under the guise of other endeavors, and reconnected four years later when Feller recruited Gilfry to sing on demos he had intended for use with female vocalists. But they much preferred the more lo-fi versions with Gilfry's guide vocals to the versions with different singers, quickly leading them to begin writing their own new material together.

They've quickly made a name for themselves by releasing these unique covers by Womack & Womack's "Teardrops", Stardust's "The Music Sounds Better With You" as well as original songs like "Dumb Love" and creating an encouraging critical buzz by opening for bands like Passion Pit and being supported by KCRW and Triple J radio alike.
