A disciple of Eddie Vedder, Bruce Springsteen, and The Verve, thus the Philadelphia-born, Los Angeles-based Mohawk-ed and tattooed troubadour Mondo Cozmo was born. Think Dylan fronting Oasis with Beck making the beats. Mondo Cozmo took over the rock world with his debut album Plastic Soul, which featured his #1 song "Shine."
He made his television debut on Jimmy Kimmel Live!, performed at (almost) EVERY single music festival last summer, toured with Bastille, opened for MUSE (to a crowd of over 10,000) and with Spoon. From the music industry to Hollywood - everyone has become a fan of Mondo Cozmo: Dan Reynolds from Imagine Dragons crashed his stage in Las Vegas and the two of them did a cover of "Bittersweet Symphony" together, and his music videos have starred actresses Anna Faris("Hold On To Me"),and Paz de La Huerta"Higher". He was named top festival performer at Governors Ball (Consequence of Sound & Billboard), Bonnaroo (Entertainment Weekly), Boston Calling (Boston Music), Shakey Knees (Atlanta Music Guide), Forecastle Festival (Courier- Journal), Austin City Limits (Consequence of Sound) and Summerfest (Milwaukee Journal- Sentinal).
