What others have said about AMUSE:
"Teenage Bottlerocket, Masked Intruder and the 90's Lookout! stuff would be good starting points. Every track on Life Sucks is an earworm, and Amuse has delivered a solid EP from front to back."- Punknews
"Ain't nothing wrong with upbeat, hook-laden pop-punk jams."- Punk Rock Theory
"I could at will hum the melodies to any of these 6 cuts...Amuse prove that sometimes it's the most deceptively simple melodies that are also the most effective, making for stellar and euphoric listening experience that can serve to lift one's spirits."- Jamsphere

Amuse was formed by lifelong friends Kaine Gibson (guitar) and Mike Muse (bass). In 2007 the band recorded their first EP "Tosche Station Lot Lizards" at Sonic Iguana Studios. They continued doing shows and gained some recognition in their hometown area.
In 2012 Amuse recorded a follow-up album titled "Love Songs For Your Dad" at Wes Deboy Studios in Indianapolis. After some touring the band quickly fell to a standstill with adulthood and the distance of then-drummer Weston Jordan.
In late 2015, after strong bonds were built again with Muse and Gibson, it was clear that the desire to play music was still strong. Drummer Keith Tajc was recruited. With a new dynamic and a newer sound, the band went full throttle. The band's debut Dodgeball Records EP 'Life Sucks' was well-received and helped the trio expand their fanbase, and now they're picking up where they left off with the release of their brand new LP, 'Shortcuts.'
