Emily Kinney Announces Headlining North American 'Same Mistakes' Tour
New York, NY (Top40 Charts) Singer-songwriter and actress Emily Kinney announces North American headlining tour in support of her new album 'Oh, Jonathan,' which is set for release on August 24th. The 40-date tour takes Emily across the United States, from Fort Myers to Nashville to New York to Los Angeles and will include a performance at BMI Hopper Fest. Direct support is Paul McDonald.

Tickets will go on-sale starting Friday, August 10th: https://emilykinneymusic.com/shows
Debuting songs from 'Oh, Jonathan,' along with fan favorites from past efforts 'This Is War' and 'Expired Love,' Emily will be joined by her band for an electric live show that provides audiences with an opportunity to experience her "killer vocals" (MetroNY) and "ethereal" (Philly.com) sound and stage presence in intimate settings across the country.

Simply put, 'Oh, Jonathan' is a record about unrequited love and heartbreak. Prefaced by three entrancing singles, the songs that comprise 'Oh, Jonathan' all work together to showcase a songwriter with a story to tell. Emily has already shared the inward-focused lead single "Mermaid Song," along with the nostalgic "Boy Band Hero," and, most recently, the poppy and narrative-driven "Drunk & Lost," which set the stage for the deeply personal, reflective album.

In recent years, Emily has cemented herself as a "double-threat musician you need to know" (Esquire), showcasing her skills as both an actor and songwriter. In acting, Emily' transitioned from her young role as Beth Greene on AMC's hit tv show 'The Walking Dead,' where her music and singing were often featured, to more mature roles in shows like 'Masters of Sex,' 'Ten Days in the Valley,' and to her current gig as an emotional, tenacious mother of a young girl battling cancer in the upcoming Netflix series 'Messiah.'
