New York, NY (Top40 Charts) Congratulations to Ariana Grande, who lands straight in at No 1 on the UK Albums Chart with her new album Sweetener.
It's Ariana's second No 1 album after 2016's Dangerous Woman and her strongest opening week yet: Sweetener shifted 45,000 combined units and is the week's biggest record across UK physical sales, downloads and streaming.
Ariana told: "Thank you so much! I'm so grateful! I can't tell you how appreciative I am. I can't wait to see you in September ;)".
Sweetener ends Mamma Mia! Here We Go Again's four-week reign at the top (2), and The Greatest Showman drops a place to complete the Top 3.

Manchester-born rapper Bugzy Malone lands his fourth consecutive Top 10 album with new collection B. Inspired at No 6, London singer-songwriter Gabrielle lands her first Top 10 in 14 years this week with Under My Skin (7), and Slaves enter at 8 with their third album Acts Of Fear And Love and claim both this week's best-selling album on vinyl and the most popular release in independent record shops.

Elsewhere, US indie-rockers Death Cab For Cutie open at 24 with their ninth record Thank You For Today, Stefflon Don mixtape Secure debuts at 35 and Ten Millennia's Love Won't Wait bows at 36.
