New York, NY (Top40 Charts) After skyrocketing to the Moon and back in last month's "barcelona boots" video, Nashville's psych pop surrealists - Arlie - return to Earth in their follow-up single and video, "water damage." Cruising in a vintage car, singing over a stream of phrases reminiscent of refrigerator magnet word jumble, the band delivers a liberating narrative with "all the right hooks, all the right instrumentation" (EARMILK) that have made them irresistible to millions of listeners.

Both "water damage" and lead single "barcelona boots" are standouts from the band's forthcoming debut EP, 'Wait.' Out September 19th on Atlantic Records, the project is a product of mastermind Nathaniel Banks - a classicist songwriter with 21st century collagist sensibilities - and features production work from Andrew Sarlo (Big Thief, Local Natives) and mixer Jason Kingsland (Youth Lagoon, Belle and Sebastian).

Over the past several months, Arlie has risen from college dorms and house parties to Bonnaroo, shows with Rostam and Cold War Kids, 5 million+ streams, and their national fall tour - full dates below, including stops at LA's School Night, New York's Bowery Ballroom, and a just-added hometown return to headline Nashville's Mercy Lounge on December 7th.
