Elijah Grae Releases New Track 'Castles' Today
New York, NY (Top40 Charts) Rising artist Elijah Grae released his latest track "Castles," today as a free download on SoundCloud. The track is from his upcoming debut solo EP ELIJAH GRAE featuring already released songs "Touch and Geaux" and "Rivals."
"Castles was one of the first records I did for this project," shares Grae. "It's a pretty pure tune in the sense that I didn't overthink it. I was more concerned with the overall vibe in that moment than the technical things that can usually cloud a song. 16-bit nostalgia, crispy drums, a melody, some wordplay...easy."

Elijah Grae, originally from the Bay Area, has used his sharp songwriting abilities to land him credits on Jake Miller's "Tell Me You Love It" and E-40's "Red Cup" featuring T-Pain, Kid Ink and B.o.B. He is a former member of hip hop trio, Drop City Yacht Club, whose single "Crickets" (produced by Grae) garnered over 10 million Spotify plays. It is not easy to fit Grae into one box or genre because he has managed to create a unique blend of soul, R&B, rock and hip-hop that is clever and thoughtful but easy to listen to all at the same time.
