Curacao Foundation Presents: Latinos United Concert In Support Of Immigrant Children Separated From Their Families
New York, NY (Top40 Charts) This Hispanic Heritage month, the Curacao Foundation—a nonprofit organization founded in 2002 by retailer Curacao—is doing its part to strengthen the Latino community by hosting a fundraising concert in support of immigrant children separated from their families at the border.

The four-hour, private event opens its doors at 4 p.m. at the Los Angeles Coliseum on Saturday, October 20. The concert features performances by popular Latino artists, such as Paquita La Del Barrio, Nacho and Alicia Villareal, and is hosted by TV personalities Don Cheto and Nitzia Chama. With its efforts, the Curacao Foundation hopes to raise abundant funds to provide to advocacy organizations working on behalf of immigrant children, such as El Rescate and CASA LIBRE. Curacao will also showcase its past community efforts to develop support for future foundation endeavors.

"At Curacao we embrace all Latinos, regardless of their country of origin, neighborhood or level of acculturation. We strongly believe in the importance of keeping families united, and through this concert and our Foundation efforts, we want to take a stand in supporting them and signaling that the Latino community is stronger together," Curacao CMO Ariela Nerubay said.

"Over the past two decades, our Foundation has helped thousands of immigrant families, sponsored hundreds of scholarships and funded dozens of causes. The Latinos United Concert is our most ambitious effort so far and a natural extension of our long history of supporting the communities we serve," Nerubay concluded.

Tickets are available by making a donation at icuracao.com/latinosunitedconcert or by purchasing select merchandise in-store or online. One hundred percent of the online donation proceeds go directly to nonprofit organizations at the forefront of seeking solutions to the current family separation immigration crisis.
