New York, NY (Top40 Charts) Artist: LaKyoto

Release Date: September 28th
Genre: Alternative, Synth Pop

It has been a little over twelve months since Edinburgh outfit LaKyoto announced their arrival, quickly receiving support from Made In Chelsea, Amazing Radio and The Line Of Best Fit. Stream 'Something About You' on all platforms September 28th

LaKyoto have caught the immediate interest of their city, that has embraced the mystery and excitement surrounding the young quartet. The band's electronic pop music, with stomping drums, pounding sub-bass and colossal melodies, has been supported by the likes of BBC Radio Scotland, Clash and the Scottish Sun, as well as featured on Made In Chelsea.

Marrying the atmospherics of eighties synth-pop with a vibrant punch similar to Everything Everything, LaKyoto have enjoyed a rapid rise following and subsequent wide spread success of their debut single. Built on crushing synths, crisp beats and stunning lead vocals from frontman Conor Joss, the quartet are gradually constructing the kind of bold, self-assured aesthetic that makes this single their biggest to date.
