New York, NY (Top40 Charts) How do you feel about an unexpected dance number? Let New York City's Tigers and Monkeys, joined by comedian Greg Johnson, dazzle you in their super fun, dance heavy video "In an Instant" from their third album Saturday Destroyer. Noted indie video maker Brendan McKnight uses New York City as playful backdrop, seeing Shonali Bhowmik and Jason Lam sing and play in subway stations, rooftops, public parks, and more.

As a Nashville native, Bhowmik combines her personal background with her New York City experiences to create songs. Tigers and Monkeys includes Jason Lam (bass, vocals), Joachim Kearns (guitar), Russ Dungan (guitar, surfer), Antonia Santangelo (percussion, dancing), Anthony Cangelosi (drums), with honorary members Jody Bilinski (drums) and Jeff Sheinkopf (keyboards, drums).
Tigers and Monkeys have joined stages with acclaimed bands like Sleater Kinney, Matt and Kim, Ted Leo and the Pharmacists, The Shins, Love and Laughter, and Heartless Bastards. Their latest album, Saturday Destroyer (Little Lamb Records) was recorded at Threshold Studios in Manhattan and produced by the legendary Kenny "The Soundman" Lienhardt of the Bowery Ballroom and is now available.
