New York, NY (Top40 Charts) Reaching out about Los-Angeles-based producer/songwriter/multi-instrumentalist, Lavender Fields, is currently on a US tour with MoonHooch, ahead of her new single and video "Gravitude," the title track of her upcoming 3-song EP due out December 7, 2018, follow up to her debut album,
Music Beyond Music.
Let me know if you can post about the tour, review the album or feature/interview Lavender Fields.
Lavender is promoting sustainable living while on tour, planting lavenders in every city she tours to beautify the planet and using sustainable practices, such as not using disposable plastic water bottles, etc. Lavender Fields' ultimate goal is to uplift people through her song and improve living conditions. Lavender takes this goal into her personal life as well, practicing veganism for most of her life, not only out of compassion for animals, but to help the environment and dampen Global Warming.
Lavender is teaming up with a permaculture designer, musician and an herbalist named Edenspore, who will be teaching workshops at every show and educating people about sustainable ways of living, herbal medicines, mycology, perma culture. SHe and Lavender are visiting eco villages on the East Coast to learn about the sustainable ways of living and share and exchange knowledge about the topic.
"Gravitude" is a dreamy, flowing song Lavender wrote recently while navigating through some turbulent waters of life. The inspiration is to love everything and have the capacity to forgive. She plays electric guitar on the track, which is a new instrument in her line up.
Melding multiple genres into an experimental and eclectic sound, Lavender Fields started her music interest with classical music. She has alchemized sounds of her inspirations, including the timeless reggae creations of Bob Marley, the mystical and classical compositions of Tchaikovsky, and the experimental electronica of Flying Lotus, who inspired Lavender to explore creating and fusing sounds with the Moog. Lavender also attains inspiration from nature, travel, and different cultures. She incorporates field recordings and analog synth to create the majority of her sounds.
