Redlight Releases New Album, "Active"
New York, NY (Top40 Charts) After huge anticipation surrounding the release, UK producer Redlight has now unveiled his eclectic new 10-track album, 'ACTIVE' which includes recent singles 'So Nice' and 'Ride that Thing.'
Best known for his anthems 'Get Out Of My Head' (9 million Spotify streams) and UK Top #5 single 'Lost In Your Love', Redlight has been heavily supported by the likes of Annie Mac, Diplo, My Nu Leng, AC Slater, and Chris Lorenzo amongst others. Garnering a reputation as one of dance music's most versatile producers, Redlight fuses elements of house, techno, hip-hop and jungle/DnB into his work.

Collaborating with artists such as Mobb Deep, Raekwon (Wu-Tang Clan) and remixing the likes of Kano, Mary J. Blige and Tink, Redlight has also been hailed for his vibrant work as a producer.

ACTIVE arrives three years after the success of his debut LP 'X Colour' in 2015, and two years after his 'Templates' mixtape. Widely praised by all corners of the dance music community thanks to Redlight's experimental style, X Colour was packed with both bass-orientated house tracks likes 'Gold Teeth' and more radio friendly house productions such as 'Shine'.

ACTIVE showcases several of the '9TS' producer's most dynamic elements, and features a wealth of the high calibre British talent that Redlight is synonymous for working with, including Sweetie Irie, Karen Harding, and North London rapper, Abra Cadabra.

With the album packed with a diverse range of tones, including the sounds of the warm and deeply electronica-focused 'Get Wavey', Redlight flaunts a bouncy bassline on 'Missing' ft. ETS, fusing a rasping melody with zippy synths to create a cymbal-clad, floor shaker. The production is of stark contrast to 'Everyday', the Lisa Mercedez collaboration which serves as a snarling hip-hop anthem, laced with Lisa's ferocious and wittily lyricsed delivery. Rounding off the album with 'Seasons' (feat Karen Harding), 'BAGS' (feat Asabe), and 'Crazy' (feat Dread MC), the release of ACTIVE follows a busy summer for Redlight.

Performing at London's South West Four event, as well as Notting Hill Carnival, Boomtown Festival, Motion Bristol and New York's Electric Zoo, Redlight was also a consistent name on various Ibiza line-ups throughout the 2018 season, delivering vibrant sets at Balearic super-club, Amnesia.

The release of 'ACTIVE' solidifies the Bristolian's reputation as one of dance music's most innovative producers, and is out now!
