New York, NY (Top40 Charts) Singer-songwriters Gaby Moreno and Dannielle DeAndrea came together to record Bill Monroe's "The One I Love Is Gone" for the Hootenanny One Mic Series in Los Angeles. The performance - which follows Moreno's recent Spanish-language take on Paul Simon's "American Tune" with Davíd Garza for the series - was recorded with the Hootenanny House Band by Tim Schoenhals and filmed by Ryan Dilmore. You can watch it on Top40-Charts.com!

Moreno recorded a heartfelt interpretation of David Rudder's song "The Immigrants" with musician, songwriter, arranger, and producer Van Dyke Parks and released it on Nonesuch for July 4 this year. Proceeds go to support CARECEN and its efforts to empower immigrants. "The Immigrants" may be purchased from the iTunes, and Amazon, and hear on YouTube, Apple Music, and Spotify.
