Olivia Chaney has announced a run of UK dates in March 2019 in support of her acclaimed album, Shelter, released on Nonesuch Records in June. The tour begins in Whitstable on March 3, followed by shows in London, Southampton, Cambridge, Bristol, and Manchester. The Southampton show falls on International Women's Day and will feature a specially curated program to include songs by Chaney's favorite female songwriters. See below for details, and visit nonesuch.com/on-tour for all the latest.
Chaney, following a long period of life on the road, returned to a family retreat, a rustic, 18th-century cottage in the hills of the North Yorkshire Moors, to write the songs of Shelter. It has been nominated as Album of the Year in the 2018 fRoots Critics Poll and was recently included among the Best Albums of 2018 per Uncut magazine, which called it "transcendent." The Observer declares it "an elegant, luminous album."
To pick up a copy of Shelter, head to your local record store, iTunes, Amazon, and the Top40-Charts Store, where orders include a download of the complete album at checkout; it can also be heard on Spotify and Apple Music
