Meiko Releases New Holiday Single

New York, NY (Top40 Charts) Acclaimed alt-pop singer-songwriter Meiko has independently released a new holiday track today, titled "Merry Christmas Wherever You Are".
She teamed up with Joshua Grange (Sheryl Crow, k.d. Lang) once again for production duties (Grange also produced Meiko's 2016 Moving Day LP).
"The song is about missing loved ones during Christmas", Meiko says. "I wrote it when I was really sad, but we ended up recording it with really warm, happy-sounding production."

"Merry Christmas Wherever You Are" wraps up a series of Meiko releases in 2018. Most recently the "Back In The Game" single (WAX LTD), and the critically-acclaimed live covers album, Playing Favorites (Chesky Records).

Meiko, who recently relocated to Hamburg, Germany from Nashville, TN, is busy putting the finishing touches on a new full-length which will be released in late spring 2019.
