New York, NY (Top40 Charts) Look out for the grimy punk rock group DIE FAST, fronted by designer TOD JUNKER of the acclaimed celebrity clothing company JUNKER DESIGNS that uses repurposed items (including 'trash' and 'junk') to create one-of-a-kind pieces for stage and everyday wear, comes the grimy punk rock group DIE FAST. The band have decided to celebrate the New Year with a surprise release of a new album WELCOME TO HOLLYWOOD featuring nine tracks of filth-spewing, rapid-fire punk rock. TOD has been in and out of bands since he dropped out of high school to pursue his career in fashion and was most well-known for fronting the Texas hardcore rock group, Spunk, which saw him play stages with the likes of WHITE ZOMBIE and L7. DIE FAST was formed shortly after Tod opened the JUNKER DESIGNS studio in Los Angeles in 2000, which allowed him the freedom to split his time at the studio and at his home in Houston, Texas where he was raised. The current DIE FAST line-up is rounded out by Dane Sonnier and Jimmy Douglas on guitars, Rudy Olivarez on bass, and Chris Moye on drums, who share TOD's D.I.Y. sensibilities and aggressive punk rock attitude.
