New York, NY (Top40 Charts) " The invigorating effort is filled with blistering guitars, fierce indie pop-rock sensibilities, and pulsating drums. The idyllic blend of effervescent instruments and lead vocalist Mwita Mataro's fortifying vocals makes for a recipe of pure sonic magic."

The 405

"This summer is theirs for the taking and with tracks like 'Stop This War' in their set

it's hard to see who can stop them."

Billboard Radio China

"Lions did become a feelgood anthem that is carried by its uplifting indie-pop vibe. At Pavillon recall the greatness of Mid 00s heroes like Franz Ferdinand and The Killers but are clever enough to place the song in the here and now."

NBHAP

"Their remix is filled to the brink with buzzing and intoxicating synth work, a crunchy sounding bass and a steady beat which is guaranteed to make you move."

Discobelle on At Pavillon - Lions (Is Tropical Remix)

"Lions" is the band's most powerful track to date. The lyrics, including the line "we are lions, we are born to lead," mixed with the high energy guitars make for an anthemic sound about strength and pride."

Austrian four-piece At Pavillon release their final pre-album single, 'Believers' on the 18th of January via Las Vegas Records. 'Believers' follows the release of their debut single, 'All Eyes On You', 'Stop This War' and 'Lions' which included a remix by Kitsuné signee IS TROPICAL. The quartet has seen vast support from national radio station FM4, popular Austrian late-night TV show Willkommen Österreich as well as international support from Billboard Radio China, Discobelle, NBHAP and Pure Grain Audio. At Pavillon have played at Austria's biggest music festival, FM4 Frequency where they shared the stage with Gorillaz, Imagine Dragons, Bastille, Kygo, Macklemore, Die Antwoord and The Kooks and at Reeperbahn Festival with the likes of Muse, Jungle, Parcels and Sigrid. They've also been fortunate enough to play support for Bombay Bicycle Club, Kakkmaddafakka and Lany. At Pavillon is looking forward to performing at Eurosonic Noorderslag in January as well as various other shows in Germany and Austria.

The band formed in 2014 and is made up of four talented young men, with Paul Majdzadeh-Ameli (drums and backing vocals), Tobias Kobl (bass guitar and backing vocals), Bernhard Melchart (lead guitar and backing vocals) and Mwita Mataro (rhythm guitar and the lead vocals). Known by many as a bunch of romantic rebels in matching button-up shirts, all four of the members of At Pavillon hail from Vienna and have an incredible chemistry, on and off stage.

Inspired by diaspora-artists who have faced socio-political issues based on their social, ethnical, cultural or migrational backgrounds, At Pavillon draw influences from Queen's Freddie Mercury, Bob Marley, and M.I.A as they admire public figures who stand up for causes bigger than themselves. The addictive energy At Pavillon exudes can be compared to notable acts like The Kooks and Two Door Cinema Club, while the band's sound can be help up alongside firm indie-rock heavyweights Cage The Elephant and Catfish and the Bottlemen. Although drawing from classic indie-rock sounds, At Pavillon has a unique sound created by a combination of Mwita Mataro's signature vocals, inspiration from the pop and funk genres and the entire band's tight energy that they bring to all their tracks. At Pavillon manages to create uplifting indie-rock music that delivers a powerful and concise message, driving a call to action from political leaders and listeners alike.

At Pavillon's latest offering, 'Believers' is an explosive start to what is set to be one of the hottest albums of 2019. Produced by Roland Maurer (Giantree), the new single challenges the listener to be hopeful even in times of turmoil. The track starts slowly, but quickly combusts into a catchy chorus carried by powerful, yet raspy vocals and a bassline that will stick in your mind for the rest of the day. Subtle synth chords are later added to fill out the song even more as each bar builds on the previous, only to culminate in a climax that will leave you wanting more and reach for the repeat button. As the opening track proves, At Pavillon are masters of producing easy on the ear pop tracks with an underlying political message as they dare you to question the status quo.

"'Believers' should empower the listener in their belief in themselves. 'Believers' is a call to stay optimistic, even in times when society is branding you naive.", say the band about the new single.
