New York, NY (Top40 Charts) What makes a piece of music so special?
When the components of a song, altogether, touch the heartstrings of the audience, it becomes their favorite. This is very much true with the soundtrack, "Is This Real?"
The famous band, Couch surf has recently released their self-titled EP, which has become already popular among the music lovers. Six songs are in this album, and all of them sounds gloomy good. All the soundtracks excel the pain of rejection, heartbreaking, the tale of a lonely soul. But, there is one song that sounds so special among them, both musically and literally.
From the very beginning, it is clear that "Is This Real" didn't come out from the whimsical corner of the artistic mind. Like the other soundtracks in the album, this song, too, has come out from the grief-stricken emotion of Taylor Barnes.
On the death of his friend, Glen Harbor, the shattered mind and soul of Taylor Barnes could do nothing but driving his creative mind on the lane of deep sorrow and gloom.
With their vintage sound, delicately beautiful riffs, the team of Couch Surf have tried to revive the essence of the '60s in their song, "Is this Real?" Both the music and lyrics express melancholic mood and emotion, creating a cascade of post-rock music. The harmony of musical and lyrical expressions are so brilliantly accomplished that they will lead the audience to some nostalgic moment.
The relentless energy, comprehensible lyrical expression, unique and enjoyable dark melody, proportionate use of instruments, powerful yet smooth vocal, etc., altogether they have made "Is This Real?" a masterpiece of Couch Surf.
