New York, NY (Top40 Charts) Peter Bjorn and John will be joining fellow indie-rock mainstays Phoenix, Yeah Yeah Yeahs, MGMT, Beach House and many more at this year's Just Like Heaven festival in Long Beach, CA. The all-star event will take place on May 4th at the end of the band's #DarkerDaysTour this spring, which kicks-off on April 24th in Philadelphia before heading west.
In addition, the band will release more new music this month when they drop a new EP - EPBJ - on February 22nd via INGRID. Recorded during the same sessions as their latest LP Darker Days, the three songs - "Bones," "Darker Days" and "Saying Goodbye" - showcase a softer and more introspective side of the band.
Darker Days earned the Swedish trio raves from the media with many outlets calling it the band's best release since 2006's Writer's Block LP. The album was included in ABC News' "50 Best Albums of 2018" who wrote "...their inherent chemistry as musicians make this trio special and this collection, with its experimental edges, provides another excellent addition to their discography." Other coverage included NPR, Pitchfork, Mother Jones, Stereogum, Billboard, BlackBook, The Guardian, FLOOD, Clash, and The Line of Best Fit among others.
Peter Bjorn and John is looking forward to releasing the EPBJ EP and hitting the road again this spring. All confirmed tour dates are below and for the most up-to-date info, please visit www.peterbjornandjohn.com.
