New York, NY (Top40 Charts) The original Broadway cast recording of THE BAND'S VISIT has won the GRAMMY for Best Musical Theater Album at the 61st Annual GRAMMY Awards! The award was given during the Premiere Ceremony live on Grammy.com. Live from STAPLES Center, and hosted by Alicia Keys, the 61st Annual GRAMMY Awards air on CBS on Sunday, Feb. 10, 2019.
The album is produced by Dean Sharenow and
David Yazbek, with Kurt Deutsch serving as executive producer. THE BAND'S VISIT is currently running on Broadway at the Ethel Barrymore Theatre (243 West 47th Street).
