Scott Lavene Announces Debut Album And UK Tour With Intoxicating 'Methylated Blue'
New York, NY (Top40 Charts) Scott Lavene today announces the forthcoming release of his debut solo album 'Broke'. Coming out on the 7th June, the album is preceded by the new single Methylated Blue.

Like all the greatest music Scott Lavene is all at once familiar and yet hard to place. A storyteller, delivering real life vignettes over wonk beats and scuzz riffs, he is a 21st century take on those maverick genius outsiders that Stiff Records used to release back in the punk wars.

Speaking of his new single 'Methylated Blue' Lavene says

"The song, Methylated Blue, is dark romance, a rough night, the hope of meeting true love under odd conditions. The love that matches your twisted heart and ambitions. It's a broken ballad for the lonely, a New York epic."

After a few years of living on dreams 2018 finally saw Scott release a string of limited edition 7 inch singles, play a residency at Brighton Fringe Festival, embark on an autumn tour and also receive airplay from Steve Lamacq on his BBC 6Music show.
To support the album release Scott has also announced a run of full band, headline shows in June.

Live Dates:
5th May, Liverpool Sound City, Liverpool
27th May, The Bell, Bath
7th June, The Beehive, Swindon
10th June, Crofter's Rights, Bristol
11th June, Servant Jazz Quarters, London
