Fred Argir Releases "Still Alive"
New York, NY (Top40 Charts) Let the music play, Let the vibes come out, Let the wind blow, Life is slowly passing by and whatever thoughts that may be plaguing the human mind, somehow those thoughts become vivid images; thus pictures are formed…What most people are doing today is trying to cope with what life means, Often, reflection is a must and when a person reflects, whatever thoughts come to mind are the very footsteps to what should be done to get a better quality of life. Sometimes music has a way of crafting what a person feels and thankfully there will always be a clever person that has written the tune that helps the necessary relief come, And it is a pleasure to hear live and all its battles on the new album, "Still Alive," by Fred Argir…

Earlier, the introduction to Fred Argir came with the single, "I Don't Feel It." However, the surprise treat was the ability to add 13 more songs and just like that, a walking encyclopedia of life in the key of music was dropped right by my feet! This New York-based singer/songwriter and multi-instrumentalist 14 songs of power, love, and creative melodies that showcase great ability as well as total control of the stage! There is a deep love of the southern swampy blues in Fred Argir's sound because as earlier explained, Fred showcases real feeling in every note played! Just like the pioneers of the guitar: From Eric Clapton, Jimi Hendrix, and B.B. King, serious tone quality is heard! Let's dig in!

The album begins with a powerful monster ballad, "The World is Not Enough." As an observation, Fred Argir seems to have the music in heart first…A combination of a swarm of bees and acoustic guitar mash together to give a blend of imagination. As observed previously, Fred Argir likes long introductions. And he seems to capitalize on swelling chords and true diagnosable sound. The next few tracks, "I Don't Feel It, Catch You When You Fall, The Meditation, and Krishna is Crying" ARE ALL ECLECTIC PIECES OF ART. "I Don't Feel It" was the introductory song that led the journey of discovery to the full arch of sound that Fred Argir possesses. But, "Catch You When You Fall" is the anthem for the album…Hammond organ, acoustic guitar, and feeling lyrics, are truly amazing! A person is looking for that one that got away to return…We all have had someone that took our breath away and vowed for the opportunity to get them back…Love stories are made around the clock where a lost soul was once regained and this is the song needed for Valentine's Day! Good stuff! Moving on to "The Meditation" has a Lenny Kravitz vibe from the softer introduction. The same long introduction, and condemning words showcase the way that Fred Argir showcases his ability to relate to the world. "Krishna is Crying" opens back to a more progressive sound as the same long introduction showcases its face yet there is a more aggressive yearning and pleading present for a change. "Krishna is Crying" introduces Fred Argir's wish for change within the world and it's definitely what is needed in today.

The next wave of sound from 'Still Alive' includes the songs, "Too Tired to Fight, Preachers in the Square, the album entitled track, Still Alive, Asylum of the Human Resistance, and The End." On "Too Tired to Fight," a progressive Foo Fighters sound explodes. "Lying here seems like forever…" a direct lyric from that showcases a person that is just needing a break from everything. When you are too tired to fight, you have checked out and made no plan of a return. "Preachers in the Square," keeps the up-tempo groove. Imagine the preacher that is strong enough to give a message even when no one wants to hear it and this song shows this very moment…Good stuff! The album title song, "Still Alive," goes back to a softer side of Fred Argir. He wishes to be someone else's entire world and pours his heart on all that he wants to be for that special someone…A heartfelt and beautiful display of love and sound…" Asylum of the Human Resistance," just by the title gave an impression of a Star Wars theme! However, when Support the movement and take a listen to this body of work! You won't be disappointed.
