New York, NY (Top40 Charts) On a day surrounded with the celebration of love, singer/songwriter PIPER HAYS resonates with those who are coping with loss with the release of her second single, the solacing "For You," taken off her upcoming debut full-length studio album VAGABLONDE.
"'For You' is a special song to me," shares PIPER. "I wrote it when tragedy struck a few different friend groups of mine and I was confused and sad and feeling a bit lost. "Every single person has experienced loss in some way shape or form and that feeling of hopelessness and sadness is hard to go through alone," she continues. "I hope that by releasing this song I can comfort my listeners and remind them that "this life may be cruel but there's more than one shade of blue."
