PJ Morton Announces First-Ever Keys & A Mic Acoustic Tour
New York, NY (Top40 Charts) From playing the Super Bowl to winning a GRAMMY, dropping "Say So" with JoJo to selling out his first headlining Kennedy Center performance, PJ Morton has just done in February what many artists can only dream to accomplish over decades. He's currently on tour with Maroon 5, filling arenas across Australia and Asia, but today, he caps off his month by announcing another career first: the Keys & A Mic Tour.

From April 29th through May 12th, Morton will perform ten acoustic sets in the smallest rooms he's played in years, including stops in New York City, DC, Chicago, Boston, and Nashville. The string of shows follows his April 26th homecoming at New Orleans Jazz & Heritage Festival, as well as his already sold-out April 5th appearance launching both Steve McQueen's Soundtrack of America series and Manhattan's groundbreaking new arts space, The Shed.

Tickets go on-sale Thursday, February 28th, 3pm EST here: https://www.pjmortonmusic.com/shows/

Accompanying him each night are sister duo The Amours, whose gliding blood harmonies and seductive stage presence have complemented Morton on the thrice Grammy-nominated album Gumbo Unplugged, his 15-piece Tiny Desk Concert, jam sessions withThe Roots, and nearly 60 tour dates across the world. The Amours are preparing to release their first solo music on Morton Records - stay tuned for more news this week.

Yesterday, PJ Morton announced he will record a new live album at the 25th Anniversary ESSENCE Festival this July. Joining him are JoJo, Luke James, Mia X, Pell, the Hamiltones, and many others, but don't think this is the only record he has in the works.
