New York, NY (Top40 Charts) BIO
Beachmaster are an intense, energetic alternative rock band from North-West England.
Utilising a multitude of influences from genres such as rock, punk and folk, Beachmaster combine a melodious core with a gritty, aggressive aesthetic, resulting in songs brimming with sentiment and conviction. Consequently, they have been previously likened to such acts as Frank Turner, Against Me!, and The Gaslight Anthem. With a line-up consisting of talent from various northern acts (KVEIS, No Thrills, Die No More),
Beachmaster have been dominating stages all over the UK, having played sessions for BBC Introducing and performed at numerous UK festivals including Kendal Calling, Smugglers, Eden Fest and Solfest. In
September 2017, they released their debut album, 'Strength in Numbness', to a raucous local reception with a homecoming show at The Brickyard in Carlisle, and subsequent touring throughout the UK in 2018.
Looking ahead to more new music, upcoming plans for 2019 currently in the works include a series of double A-side singles over the course of the year. Kicking off with fan-favourite 'Not Going Home' being released in March alongside new track 'Mannequins', with accompanying UK dates in the lead-up to festival season, and following tracks planned for release in May, July and September.
ABOUT THE SONG
Recorded in drummer Robson's garage in mid-2018, 'Not Going Home' is a rousing banger-ballad about those long sessions spent in the pub, not wanting to leave. The rallying cry of "get me another drink!" is always a highlight of any Beachmaster gig, and the song has long been their most requested and biggest fan favourite.
