Brother Sister Duo The Luck Return With Their Delicately Brave Anthem 'If This Is Love'
New York, NY (Top40 Charts) Brother and Sister duo Max and Esmay Luck prepare to release their delicately brave anthem 'If This is Love' on March 15th ahead of their UK Spring Tour.

Riding high after their performance as one of the showcasing artists at the AmericanaFest in London in January, British Americana duo The Luck have returned with their first release of the year 'If This is Love'. 2019 will also see this talented pair take to Twitch for a weekly front page slot where listeners will have the opportunity to see and hear The Luck Live.

With its sumptuous harmonies and heartbreakingly honest lyrics, 'If This is Love', tells the story of a love that has been left to fate. It documents that moment of closure when you realise that if you are meant to be with someone, it will happen. A realisation that brings a moment of calm and tranquillity in the midst of any heartache.

"Esmay was making her way through a breakup as we were writing the track" Max explains, "and she needed to find some positive reassurance in the experience". She needed to know that "if it was really meant to be, then they'd eventually end up together", a sentiment that the single perfectly encapsulates.

After a gutsy opening the track quickly mellows out with the inclusion of Esmay's captivating and commanding vocals. The song continues to build throughout the verse until we reach the climax; a sincere and yet upbeat chorus where we are shown the true power of this pair's vocals. There is a quiet optimism to the track, and as the song continues you can't help but believe that things truly will work out.

Having spent their teen years experimenting and honing their musicianship separately, the sibling pair soon realised their potential as a band, and so 'The Luck' was born. Formed in 2011, the pair have spent the last few years split between England and the States, recording new music and performing in some of America's most distinguished venues including the Troubadour, Hotel Café, and NoName in LA.

It was at one of these performances that The Luck were first introduced to The President of Music at Warner Brothers Pictures, Paul Broucek, who, after hearing them perform, quickly approached the duo to work with them in producing their debut album. The Luck have now returned to London to prepare for their UK Spring Tour and release their debut album, which was recorded in LA in collaboration with three-time Grammy award winning engineer Ed Cherney.

Having already racked up over two million plays on Spotify, it's safe to say that The Luck are no strangers to recognition, and, having already sold out the first date of their UK tour it's clear that they have amassed a loyal fan base.

So, what's next for this charismatic, Americana duo? Well, with 'If This is Love' being released on the 15th of March, and their national UK tour also kicking off this month, it's safe to say 2019 is set to be an exciting year for Esmay and Max Luck…
