Mighty Shabba are made up of Neil Smith and
James Cassin. The two childhood friends first met aged 6 at Golborne County Primary School when James' family moved to Golborne, Greater Manchester from Swansea and have remained close friends ever since. Performing and recording music together throughout High School and sixth form, Neil had started to write and record music before inviting
James to accompany the live setup and then deciding on the moniker, Mighty Shabba.
The live setup generally consists of Neil on lead vocals and acoustic guitar with
James accompanying backing vocals and electric guitar. Currently performing around the north west of England, they are actively seeking more gigs whilst also looking to include additional members (primarily bass guitar and drums) to help improve their performances to replicate the ambitious sounds achieved on their recordings.
