New York, NY (Top40 Charts) Playing Sold Out Hometown Philly Show This Weekend, On The Road With
Bruce Hornsby & The Noisemakers In July + Playing Red Rocks #1 BILLBOARD ROCK ALBUM MY NEW MOON OUT NOW
Amos Lee has announced a new string of headline North American tour dates this summer, in addition to his short run with
Bruce Hornsby & The Noisemakers. After playing his first hometown Philly show in years this Saturday -- which the Philly Inquirer called one of the "biggest concerts coming to Philadelphia" this year -- Amos will wrap up the spring season with a performance at MerleFest later this month, and hit the road again with Hornsby and opener Madison Cunningham in July. Tickets for these new headline shows go on sale this Friday, April 5th at 10am local time, with the exception of Englewood, NJ, which goes on sale at 11am local. See full list of dates below, more info here: https://www.amoslee.com/tour
Amos Lee's new album My New Moon is out now on Dualtone, and has been called "the most personal and deeply felt of his seven studio albums" (Billboard). The record debuted at #1 on the Billboard Rock and Americana/Folk charts, #2 on the Independent Album chart, and earned raves everywhere from Salon, NPR Music, Rolling Stone and more.
Watch Lee's recent performance of new album cut "Little Light" on Rachael Ray here. Amos dedicated the song to a nine-year-old girl named Maya, who he grew close with as she battled and beat cancer. He recently released a new version of the track called the "Mighty Maya Mix," which features vocals from Maya herself. Listen here: https://spoti.fi/2OgeVVK
