New York, NY (Top40 Charts) The Weeknd has made a song especially for season 8 of Game of Thrones! Sources close to the project told that the track will feature on the final season of the show. The Game of Thrones approached The Weeknd to conceive a song "for fans." The singer then brought both Travis Scott and SZA onto the project. You might have already gotten wind of Scott's involvement in the Game of Thrones song, as rumors of the project have been circulating on Reddit as well as his fan page.

No exact episode or release date has been confirmed, however, fans were quick to spot a video on the Game of Thrones Instagram account that features cast members vamping to a track that has all the hallmarks of a song by The Weeknd.

Meanwhile, late last year The Weeknd hinted at a new album by sharing a piece of new artwork. In an Instagram post, the Canadian singer captioned a black and white silhouette graphic of his various side profiles with: "love this. VI". There's an image of him with his iconic hair set deep into the stencil design as well as an illustration of his current look.
