Lee Fields Exhibits "Preternatural Power" (The Fader) On New Album It Rains Love, Out Now
New York, NY (Top40 Charts) 50 years into an illustrious career that's taken him from grade school talent shows in Civil Rights-era North Carolina to venues across the world, Lee Fields has released new album It Rains Love (Big Crown Records). With contagious verve and trademark compassion, the soul survivor's fifth LP backed by the Expressions extols his doctrines of love, life, and God in times that need them most.

Read more about the record and Fields' "preternatural power" at The FADER, where the living legend discusses performing at Carnegie Hall last month, being sampled by Travis Scott and J. Cole, fake news, five decades of marriage, traveling through our galactic sea, and how "we're all part of an everlasting dream": https://bit.ly/2FWyXR7

And check out Vanity Fair's look into Fields' collection of a hundred-plus suits, each one a signature of his mission to embody the future: https://bit.ly/2KhR0GP

Fields made It Rains Love with producer Leon Michels (Lana Del Rey, Adele, Beyonce & Jay Z) in Queens' Diamond Mine Studio and a converted post and beam barn upstate, combining analog oddities, generations of tape saturation, and sometimes six consecutive hours of vocal takes to achieve the sound that's made Fields the godfather of New York City's soul revival.

Lee Fields and The Expressions begin a tour headlining some of their biggest stages ever this week - full dates below.
