NEW YORK (Lava Records) - San Diego rockers Unwritten Law have parted ways with Rob Brewer, the band's long-time guitarist. The veteran rockers will remain intact as a four piece and are on tour now with Sum 41 in support of their new album Here's To the Mourning.

"It was an incredibly difficult decision, albeit the right thing to do given the recent circumstances," remarked Unwritten Law vocalist Scott Russo. "Rob is irreplaceable and we plan to continue as a four-piece. We wish him the best and remain confident that Unwritten Law will continue to make great music."

Considered by many to be the forefathers of the SoCal skate scene, Unwritten Law is no stranger to controversy. Over the years, the band's lineup has experienced changes, most recently with long-time drummer Wade Youman being replaced by Tony Palermo. The latest decision to part ways with Rob Brewer was motivated by a number of volatile circumstances involving disputes between Rob and various band members, as well as interaction between Brewer and the fans.

Unwritten Law will continue to tour in support of the band's chart-topping new album Here's To the Mourning. The band features Scott Russo on vocals/guitar; Pat Kim on bass; Steve Morris on guitar; and drummer Tony Palermo. Unwritten Law will be on tour in the following cities:
