Sara Lew Announces New Single "Same Old People"
New York, NY (Top40 Charts) New single "Same Old People" by SARA LEW will be released on April 24th ahead of her concert at Spot Festival Saturday May 4th and the forthcoming album Sunday Morning which will be released on May 24th 2019.

"A string of infectious, artful singles have stamped out her pop identity, dreamy but affecting songwriting delivered with no small degree of style.

'You Said' is a beautiful return, matching interlocking guitar lines - think Galaxie 500, for example - with her half-sighed vocals."- CLASH MAGAZINE

"Same Old People" is a catchy indie rock song, with transverse guitar- and synth-melodies that cross each other under a prominent and narrative vocal. The verses lead up to the chorus built on a DUB-inspired drum beat, wide twang guitar surfaces, under the lyrical and more expressive vocal. About the song Sara says:

"Same Old People is about recognizing that even though we are moving in life and feel a development, there are times when it all feels as if you have not moved at anything at all. The song deals with a relationship with another human being, where the same patterns often repeat themselves with new faces. And in which we find ourselves and each other with the same beliefs, actions and understanding in an encounter with the other person as always"

Sara Lewis Sørensen debuted as LEW with her EP 'Drenched in Night' in 2013 and followed up with the full-length album 'Black Feathers' in 2016. As a trained guitarist from the Rhythmic Music Conservatory in Copenhagen, Sørensen has spent many years perfecting her skills with her instrument before she started recording her own songs - the result is a collection of expressive rock songs with a clear dedication and love of the instrument and the sound of the voice.

"Same Old People" and the new album Sunday Morning were arranged and recorded live in the studio in cooperation with Jakob Høyer (Trentemøller) and Anders Wallin (The Gun). Producer Nis Bysted (Iceage, Choir of Young Believers) did the mix-production and mastering is by Emil Thomsen. The coming album Sunday Morning will be released May 24th 2019 by the Copenhagen-based label HUN SOLO Records.

Lyrics
Just beneath the stars of beauty and magic
You could be so clear next weird next very fragile
Now here's a chain that's missing and I can't be hiding
I'm lying in the sand trying to refrain and escape in silence
It's been a while since you were gone
I forgot how my mind get murky
I know that it's not like it should be
Sure as this moment never last
My heart is trembling in the dark and I can't find the meaning
I follow you down every part but my feet has this heavy feeling
To night I find you're hiding in your shadow
I lie if I say I know you're back before the sunglow
We're just the same old people the same old people
Won't we ever change we're the same old people
I cross the park beneath the nests and sounds of ravens
I should leave it all behind
As I'm counting tiles on the pavement
It's been a while since you were gone
I know that I shouldn't panic
I know I can't take anything for granted
Nor secure drawings in the sand
My heart is trembling in the dark and I can't find the meaning
I follow you down every part but my feet has this heavy feeling
To night I find you're hiding in your shadow
I lie if I say I know you're back before the sunglow
We're just the same old people the same old people
Won't we ever change we're the same old people
