NEW YORK (Click Five Official Website) - Boston's The Click Five will hit the road with Aaron Carter beginning April 21 in Lincoln, Nebraska. The fabulous five just finished a wildly successful tour with Ashlee Simpson, which garnered them a few thousand new fans. The band, a power pop quintet on par with Cheap Trick and Matthew Sweet, has sold over 10,000 EPs in a few short weeks on tour and has experienced countless tales of fan frenzy at their after-show signings. The Click Five's first single "Just The Girl" will hit the airwaves May 23 and the gents are set to release debut album Greetings From Imrie House August 2.

Things are moving swiftly for the band that first joined forces at Boston's prestigious Berklee College of Music a little over a year ago. The gents just confirmed their place in Teen People's Summer Hot List issue and were recently chosen for a coveted spot on MTV with a "You Hear It First" news tip set to air in April/May. The Click Five have already graced concert bills with Alanis Morisette, Barenaked Ladies, and the indubitable Rod Stewart and will announce a large summer tour shortly.

Greetings From Imrie House pays homage to the bands' Boston house on Imrie Street where they lived while writing the album. All songs on the album, produced by Mike Denneen (Fountains Of Wayne, Aimee Mann, and Howie Day), were written and performed by The Click Five, with the exception of "Just The Girl" and "I'll Take My Chances." Both tunes were written by Fountains Of Wayne frontman Adam Schlesinger. The Click Five also collaborated with KISS front man Paul Stanley on the upbeat tune "Angel To You (Devil To Me)." In addition, Elliot Easton of The Cars fame laid down the lead guitar solo on a few tunes as well.
