New York, NY (Top40 Charts) The unmistakably British singer-songwriter JP Cooper follows the rapid success of debut album Raised Under Grey Skies with his new single, "Sing It With Me" ft. Astrid S - his first release of 2019.

Never shy of working with other artists, "Sing it With Me", is the most joyous of collaborations. With voices that meld together into one, the harmonies complement each other in all the right ways. Slowly adding layers, the track begins with the soulful vocals of Cooper and eventually builds up to an explosive chorus that commands the attention of any room. The perfect soundtrack for the dance floor or a day on the beach, "Sing It With Me" can translate to any occasion. With a driving beat and passionate vocals, the track has an infectious energy that leaves listeners captivated by the duo.

On the new release JP adds: "I'm pretty sure that the reason most guys pick up a guitar and write a song for the first time, it's usually down to a girl. 'Sing It With Me' is a song about just that. It's the idea of writing a song for somebody that you didn't quite have the courage to simply say hi to.
It's a romanticised version of that I guess, only this time the guy gets the girl (for me in reality I'd likely record it 50 times only to decide it's terrible and scrap it). I wanted to feature an artist with an incredibly sweet voice and Astrid S fit the bill perfectly. I was so excited to hear her on the track and she definitely delivered. I tried my best to write a chorus that was almost as infectious as 'Baby Shark' but very quickly realised that it was impossible. Overall, I think it turned out pretty well."

The track demonstrates JP's continued ability to craft uplifting and infectious earworms with a sincerity that resonates with any audience. A deft songwriter and a singer with soulful brilliance, JP Cooper has a rich era-spanning appreciation of music, and an innate need to turn life experiences into narrative.

With two UK Top Ten singles to his name, the Jonas Blue smash "Perfect Strangers" which he co-wrote and the inescapable radio hit "September Song" (which has HAD over 350 million streams worldwide), JP has notched up an incredible 10 million single units worldwide, and an extraordinary 1 billion streams. HIS album also contained the infectious, "She's on My Mind", the gospel tinged, soaring "Passport Home" and "Momma's Prayers" a collaboration with Stormzy.

No stranger to the live arena, JP has already sold out shows at London's most famous venues including The Village Underground, Koko, 02 Forum Kentish Town, 02 Shepherd's Bush Empire and the aforementioned Roundhouse.
Following the fantastic "Ordinary People" collaboration with Bugzy Malone in 2018, and the stunning serenade of the 'Cheerleader' demo at the end of last year, JP has his sights firmly set on reclaiming his masterful crown, with more new music pencilled to be released before the year is through.
