His main instruments are still piano and vocals, but he plays guitar and bass and many other instruments as well. He studied music in upper secondary school. Next, he attended a gospel folk high school as a pianist, which ended with a three week long field study, playing throughout the afro American churches in Chicago, USA. Upon graduation, he attended the Malmö Musical University, with Pop/Rock as course focus, which after 4.5 years landed him a bachelor's degree.
Andrea's music has spread worldwide garnering much attention and some chart topping stats on his musical journey having had more than 40 official Japanese (Oricon) or Korean (Gaon) Number 1's and another 10 Number 2's to his name!
He has also seen No.1 status hitting the charts in Sweden /Spain/ Poland/ Norway/ Czech replublic and Denmark!
Much of Andrea's music has also topped "the billboard world album chart" and has also hit the itunes chart on various occassions.
Hitting the Asian market, Andreas' accomplishments to date have included the A-side single "
Calling" for Arashi. this sold a jaw-opening 900,000 units as a single and a further more 1,000,000 units sold when included on an album.
Andreas' has also been awarded with several Japanese Grammy's and has been honored with numerous Gold Disc Awards in various categories!
