New York, NY (Top40 Charts) New Jersey-based 'trap metal' outfit CONCRETE DREAM has shared a new track from their upcoming self-titled debut album in the lyric video premiere for "Buckout Road." The song is based on the actual Buckout Road, an infamous street in White Plains, NY where various urban legends have been sourced such as flesh-eating albinos, witches and murder/suicide victim hauntings, while also allegedly being the home of cannibalistic serial killer Albert Fish at one point. Check out the ghoulish lyric video here:
Formed from members of varied cultural and musical backgrounds, CONCRETE DREAM brings forth a narrative of today's culture and the struggles of life that are equal parts mercy and power. "We chose a self-titled album because these stories on it come from ourselves," states vocalist Jeremiah Mayhem. "There is a very personal energy that has driven the band to write and record these songs and the goal was never fame, or fortune; it's to speak to people that are in a struggle, the way other bands' stories spoke to us growing up." Scheduled for release on Friday, June 28 via E-Train Records, the album was produced by Ricky Armellino (Ice Nine Kills, This or The Apocalypse) at Think Loud Studios in York, PA.
CONCRETE DREAM will celebrate the night prior, Thursday, June 27, with a special record release party/show at The VNYL in Manhattan, NY. The event is free and open to the public starting at 9:00 PM.
CONCRETE DREAM were most recently seen opening select East Coast shows for P.O.D. alongside HYRO THE HERO, who guested on their previous music video single, "Pit Trap," which can be seen here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=AKLIXwkrcc4.
