New York, NY (Top40 Charts) Today, alt-pop darling and "absolute phenomenon" (Atwood) Riah releases her music video for "Heartbreak Magic," the title track off her upcoming EP set for a June 28th release.
Set in a midnight traffic jam, the visuals for "Heartbreak Magic" follow Riah as she dances through the emotions of her personal turmoil.
"Heartbreak Magic" showcases Riah's knack for vulnerable story-telling and creating lush, electronic beats with an insatiable earworm quality.

The LA-native follows up the developing success of her EP's recent track— "Growing Up,"surpassing 60,000 streams in just two weeks — a retro-set trance that's sure to echo through your head after one listen.

Atwood calls the song "lush, entrancing dream-pop drizzled with sweet soul and groovy R&B goodness."

Fresh off the heels of performing at Coachella with Shallou for their hit "Lie" that's crossed 45 million streams on Spotify, Riah recently joined him at The Shrine in Los Angeles. Riah continues to ride the wave of success by opening for LANY in Anaheim at the House of Blueson June 25th and at The Shrine in Los Angeles on June 28th.

Influenced by her "queen" Bjork, Riah grew up playing her father's instruments and was encouraged to explore creative expression by her family. Despite other avenues, she found that it "always came back to loving to write songs and loving to sing."

To record her solo EP, Riah traveled to Norman, OK to work with producer/engineer/composer Chad Copelin (Sufjan Stevens, Ben Rector). 'Heartbreak Magic' is as honest as it is adventurous, mixing raw vulnerability with effortless swagger and bold, unpredictable arrangements.

Praised by The Line of Best Fit as landing "somewhere between the Tove Lo, Broods, and Phoebe Ryan realm of atmospheric alternative pop," Riah is a force to be reckoned with, the kind of mesmerizing vocalist whose sheer magnetism is matched only by her remarkable versatility. She writes with piercing clarity and commands the stage as if she were born for the spotlight. The "dream pop crooner" (Ones To Watch) has spent time cultivating her sound, becoming a powerful live performer and has racked up nearly 50 millions streams on Spotify.
