New York, NY (Top40 Charts) The songwriter and producer of Latin pop known as Ivan Enriquez Pons has released his latest official video single, "Perdona." The single has been proudly published as an independent release without the involvement of the corporate music industry on the Mosa Records record label. Warm, fun, exotic and danceable, "Perdona" showcases Ivan Enriquez as one of the most intriguing Latin pop artists of the year so far and promises that he has plenty more where that came from.

Cuba's Ivan Enriquez cites as main artistic influences Mana, Daddy Yankee,Carlos Santana, Ricky Martin, Marc Anthony. Ivan Enriquez's own sound takes elements from each of these and adds something fresh and unique for a result unlike anything today's music fans have heard before. With an emphasis on groove, passion and the ritmo Latino, "Perdona" by Ivan Enriquez has a little something for every pop music fan.

Asked to describe the overall meaning of "Perdona," Ivan Enriquez describes it as "The love of living."

Ivan Enriquez Pons was the singer and creator of Cuba's first rock band, Rhodas. In 1993 he became widely known as the Mark Bolan (T-Rex) of Cuba with hit video singles such as "Donde Tu Estas" and "Es Amor," winner of Video of the Year. To achieve musical freedom, Ivan Enriquez moved to the isle of Gran Canarias off the coast of Spain in 1998, where he formed the Sweet Pepper Band.

After the success and dispersal of the Sweet Pepper Band, Enriquez moved to Alicante where he coninued to collaborate with fellow Sweet Pepper alumna Joy Gomez. Inspired by the classic Walter Scott novel, Ivanhoe, they combined their names and called their duo IvanJoy. IvanJoy enjoyed popular success with their prominent LP album release, "Dedication," in 2003, also on the Mosa Records label. IvanJoy also found themselves featured on prime time Spanish network television to an audience of over 15 million people.

Today, Ivan Enriquez Pons continues to write, record and perform original music to the clamor of a loyal fanbase across many nations. He still plays under the Mosa Records indie label.

"Perdona" by Ivan Enriquez from Mosa Records is available from over 600 quality digital music stores online worldwide now. Get in early, Latin pop fans.
