New York, NY (Top40 Charts) Jacob Collier's Djesse - Volume 2 is out now (via Hajanga Records in exclusive license to Decca/Geffen) and marks the midpoint of this epic project, 40-plus songs spanning 4 volumes that each create distinct musical worlds. Volume 2 finds Jacob exploring intimate, acoustic spaces with his singular sound.

This morning, Jacob's NPR Tiny Desk performance premiered, featuring three new songs from Volume 2 that he recently taped in Washington, D.C. He performed "Feel," "Make Me Cry," and "It Don't Matter," a brand new song that he wrote deliberately to perform at the Tiny Desk (and wound up recording, featuring JoJo, for Volume 2)
Watch the Tiny Desk here: https://n.pr/2K1awUP

Jacob crafted much of Volume 2 from his home studio in London, performing, producing, engineering, and composing nearly everything himself while simultaneously welcoming a huge new network of collaborators into his world.

The project features a plethora of great musicians, including JoJo, Lianne La Havas, Oumou Sangaré, Chris Thile, Sam Amidon, Steve Vai, Kathryn Tickell, Becca Stevens, and MARO.

Interview Magazine just published this piece on how Jacob brings his distinct musical ideas to life, referencing a recent piece he created out of sounds he recorded in his backyard: https://www.interviewmagazine.com/music/jacob-collier-song-djesse-shipayrd-how-to.

He is also featured on Daniel Caesar's new album CASE STUDY 01, and Daniel recently made a surprise appearance at Jacob's Toronto show to sing "Best Part."

Djesse - Volumes 3 and 4 will be released over the next several months.
