New York, NY (Top40 Charts) Electrifying alternative R&B trio Moonchild announce a headlining U.S. Fall tour. Playing their biggest venues to date, the tour will take them across the country hitting stages in major cities, from Brooklyn Bowl in New York City to the Fonda Theatre in Los Angeles. After a year of performing at festivals worldwide and on tours with modern jazz heavyweight Kamasi Washington and alt-R&B luminaries The Internet, the L.A.-based band are set to kick off their 30+ date run of shows on
September 24th at the Crescent Ballroom in Phoenix, AZ. Full tour routing below. Tickets on-sale this Friday here: https://www.thisismoonchild.com/tour
Made up of
Amber Navran,
Andris Mattson, and Max Bryk, the trio has sold out venues across the world and are known for an eclectic neo-soul/alternative R&B sound tinged with electronic flourish. The group formed at USC, where all three members were a part of the jazz performance program. As Moonchild, they write, produce, record, and mix all of the music between the three of them—Navran on vocals, saxophone, flute, and synth bass, Mattson on keys, synth bass, flugelhorn and trumpet, and Bryk on keys, sax, and clarinet. Their background in jazz performance and multi-instrumentalist skillsets inform an ethereal stage presence that's as grounded in their flow as it is their instrumentation.

The tour will see the group tackle cuts from past releases as well as the forthcoming LP 'Little Ghost' out
September 6th via Entertainment One ("eOne"). The 14-song collection is a balancing act between modern funk ("Wise Women", "Onto Me") and the upper echelons of soul ("Too Much to Ask," "
The Other Side"). With the trio in top form, long-time listeners will find something to sink their teeth into while new fans will unearth a treasure trove of an experimental R&B record tailor-made for the modern age.

Moonchild have released three albums of sensual, beat-driven R&B. The group's last record, 'Voyager, 'was included in NPR's shortlist of "5 R&B Albums You Slept On in 2017" and garnered them comparisons to the likes of
Little Dragon and Hiatus Kaiyote. From Questlove and
Jill Scott to Stevie Wonder, Robert Glasper and PJ Morton, the triad have garnered a wide array of co-signs and cemented their place amongst the genre's brightest stars of the moment.
