Mika Shares Video For New Single "Tiny Love"
New York, NY (Top40 Charts) The platinum-selling artist MIKA releases the audio and video for "Tiny Love", the second single from his upcoming album My Name Is Michael Holbrook out October 4 on Virgin EMI/Universal Music. In a tonal shift from the carefree summer mood of his previous single 'Ice Cream'; the new video for "Tiny Love", shot by award winning director W.I.Z (Kasabian, Disclosure, Ellie Goulding), explore a complex world of real romantic attachment as MIKA dives into his familiar world of magic realism. The visuals flow between each crafted image in synchrony with the soaring vocals and full orchestral sound.

On the song MIKA explains, "Tiny love is a song that represents so much emotion. The most important thing in the world is the love we have for those around us, the love others offer us and the love we have for ourselves." He goes on, "Love can feel so massive and yet at the same time it's so tiny and imperceivable to others. Sometimes we feel tiny to the world and the only thing that can help us feel better is love. This song is a conscious decision to provoke that emotion."

And on the video MIKA continues, "I have never liked making music videos, they are such a bore. They say too many cooks spoil the soup well the same goes for videos. I knew I needed a different sort of director for this video, more art and film based. With a strong singular vision."
"I wanted a director who would accompany me on my desire to stop making music videos and start making short experimental films based around my music. Wiz was the perfect choice. From every detail in pre production, to the art direction and casting, he has one thing in mind; to illustrate a complex narrative that he has written in his head." Concluding he says, "It was intense and thrilling to collaborate with Wiz it was also an emotional experience. I am very proud of what he has made. An emotionally epic video for a song full of heart and love. Huge and Tiny at the same time."

New single 'Tiny Love' is packed full of energy and intimacy as MIKA tries to capture the essence of 'true love' in the minutiae of daily, domestic life. This ode to enduring love was written by MIKA and produced by Marc Crew along with Dan Priddy. 'Tiny Love' is taken from MIKA's forthcoming album, My Name Is Michael Holbrook, out on October 4th.

MIKA will kick off his recently announced forthcoming European tour, in London this November with stops through Spain, France, Switzerland, Italy and more. He is also planning select U.S shows this Fall.

MIKA's musical success began with the release of his hit single, "Grace Kelly." The single was featured on his debut album, Life In Cartoon Motion, which went straight to #1 in the UK and 11 other countries, going on to sell over 7 million copies worldwide. Since his debut he has released three other Platinum selling full length albums, The Boy Who Knew Too Much, The Origin of Love, and No Place In Heaven. In addition, MIKA has not only won a Brit Award for British Breakthrough Act, but he has been nominated for Grammys, MTV Europe Music Awards, Capital Radio Awards and World Music Awards. Additionally, his RA12 primetime variety show "Stasera Casa Mika" won the prestigious Rose D'or Award for Best Entertainment Series in 2017. He has been a judge on France's The Voice for six years and hosts his own BBC2 Radio show "The Art of Song".
