September 21st.
The band recently wrapped up their U.S. World Tour Takeover, with a sold out date at Staples Center, along with appearances on Good Morning America, Jimmy Kimmel Live, and a performance on the 2019 Teen Choice Awards. After signing with Epic Records earlier this year, "WHO DO U LOVE?" [feat. French Montana] has been taking Top 40
Radio by storm. Billboard stated; "Monsta X make their debut on Billboard's Pop Songs airplay chart this week as "Who Do U Love?" featuring
French Montana enters at No. 39. This marks just the second-ever Korean group, and third-ever K-pop act, to enter the Top 40 radio chart." The song has currently "climbed to a new peak of No. 35," as stated by Forbes.
Since its release, the single has been praised by MTV who claimed, "they've got the hunger and the talent, and now they've finally got the song," while Consequence Of Sound hailed the track stating; "The song sees
Monsta X grooving in their R&B side, all undulating synths and snappy rhythms. It's a perfect bed for the boys' smooth, steamy harmonies, which contrast nicely with French Montana's few cameo bars on the bridge." Billboard also referred to it as "The Song That Could Finally Deliver a K-Pop Group To The Masses."
With more music and touring on the horizon, the
Monsta X phenomenon continues to grow globally.
