Why God Of War Remains The Outright Favourite
New York, NY (Top40 Charts) With the 15th Bafta games award taking place this April it was the Norse adventure game Gods of War that snapped up five prizes in one of the gaming industry's most respected award ceremony.
Praised for its exceptional combat play, its stunning visuals and the relationship between anti-hero Kratos and his son Atreus the PlayStation 4 exclusive picked up awards for Music, Narrative, Audio Achievement as well as the Performer award for Jeremy Davies who plays The Stranger who is the God of War's primary antagonist.

Not only did God of War take all those awards it also managed to take home the biggest prize of the night which was winning Best Game a truly great prize considering the fierce competition it faced.
Titles which were bested by God of War include: - Assassin's Creed Odyssey, Red Dead Redemption 2 as well as the amazing virtual reality platformer Astro Bot and Independent darlings Celest, as well as Return of the Obra Dinn.

Across three main games and three prequels Kratos let nothing stand in his way until the entire Greek pantheon was ground to dust. God of War sees him brutalise Hercules and Helios, he overthrows his own father Zeus and after all that what's left?
Well, God of War is definitely different, but thrillingly so and rather than being about the reinvention of the game its more about redemption although there is plenty of both in this gloriously impactful blockbuster.

The game joins Kratos in the wilderness of the Norse mountains where he is hoping for peace rather than considering paying any penance, the Ghost of Sparta is in mourning for the death of his wife and now has to face the problem of taking care of their young son Atreus.
The story turns into a type of road trip where Kratos teaches Atreus to survive in a hostile land as they fulfil the last wish of their wife and mother to have her ashes scattered at the highest point of the nine kingdoms.

And so, the scene is set with Atreus being constantly by your side in this glorious game that dances with light and colour and with a rhythm that draws you in and keeps you coming back.

God of War is one of those games that quickly becomes addictive to play and you want to see just around the corner or what lies ahead over that mountain in the distance and just like God of War that offers great gameplay that's both exciting and entertaining Bestratedslotsites.co.uk offers game players only the very best online slots sites to try out.
