New York, NY (Top40 Charts) Los Angeles-based Claire
George released her stunning self-produced and self-written debut EP Bodies of Water last year via Cascine, a singularly captivating and dreamy first effort that showcased Claire's imaginative melodic sensibility, swirling electronic production, and impressive vocal control. Today, she returns with her first new material since last year.

"'Alone, Together' covers the different seasons in the lifecycle of a failed relationship. The phrase "alone together" shifts meaning over the course of the song, tipping the scale from an expression of obsession and passion to one of hollowness and defeat.
I started playing this song at shows as a piano ballad over a year ago, and earlier this year Josh from Yumi Zouma approached me about recording the song together. In our recording session, the song began to take on a different energy than that of the ballad I'd originally written, and I thought it would be interesting to create a duality not only within the song, but by releasing two versions of the song to express the two meanings of the phrase."
