Holmeswood Releases Supersonic Cover Of The Bee Gees "You Should Be Dancing"
New York, NY (Top40 Charts) "Holmeswood soars to the stratosphere on his new supersonic disco rocket cover of the Bee Gees 1976 chart topping dance track "You Should Be Dancing". Holmeswood transports the carefree euphoria of the Saturday Night Fever disco era into the future fueled with electro-techno-dubstep vibes up to Planet Holmeswood. Here he rises to the challenge of reaching the high notes of the legendary falsetto boss Barry Gibb. In Bee Gees spirit, Holmeswood progressively fuels the passion of this timeless dance anthem with a 3 Octave vocal range all the way up to G5 in the soprano galaxy.

Originally written by brothers Barry, Maurice, and Robin Gibb, "You Should Be Dancing" was released in 1976 at the zenith of the disco phenomena and quickly reached number 1 on the charts. It is the song that launched the Bee Gees into disco stardom. One year after the release, the song was further celebrated as one of six Bee Gees songs to be featured in the film Saturday Night Fever. In Holmeswood's version he collaborated with his longtime music production team; Argentinian pianist / composer / producer Dario Boente (Antonio Sanchez, Ronny Jordan, Fernando Otero, Joshua Thompson, Pablo Aslan, Mark Whitfield and others); with vocals recorded by and co-produced with Eric Jayk (Sandra Bernhardt's Rock Band and her off-Broadway Show, "Everything Bad, & Beautiful", Wildstreet, Astra The 22s, and others).

Christopher Wood Holmes (a.k.a. 'Holmeswood'), is an American pop-rock singer/songwriter, actor, artist, director and producer. In 2008, he made his live stage debut as the vocal performer "Holmeswood" at the New York International Guitar Festival's "Bob Dylan Song Contest." When Holmeswood took the stage at the legendary Bitter End on Bleecker Street in NYC he brought the house down performing a pop version of Dylan's "Like a Rolling Stone". From there he was selected as one of the finalists to perform at the Arts World Financial Center-Winter Garden.
Stay tuned... "You Should Be Dancing" is the first of several songs to be released from a special multi-song disco cover project Holmeswood is working on.
Holmeswood's "You Should Be Dancing" is available on iTunes, CD Baby.com, and all other major music platforms.
