New York, NY (Top40 Charts) Canadian singer songwriter Tamara Maddalen is set to release the 70s pop inspired new single "Headlong" to all digital platforms on September 26, 2019. The song is the fourth single to be released from the upcoming album Mint Green Mercury which draws from pop, country, rock and rhythm and blues.

"Headlong" is an ode to magic of music and song and its continued ability to save, heal and guide like a constant North Star, always there in good and bad and the perfect response to anything life can throw our way. With its deeply soulful vocal and wistful melody, the song blends brass and woodwind to a laid-back Rhythm and Blues groove with smooth pulses of electric guitar and keys.

Fans of Linda Ronstadt, Bonnie Raitt and Sheryl Crow are sure to add Tamara Maddalen to their playlist, however, the songs also fit in with contemporary artists such as Maren Morris, Brandi Carlile and Elle King.
