Matty Marz Releases 'Love Fool'
New York, NY (Top40 Charts) This Matty Marz EP is full of pizzazz and unleashes every last drip of it on his new EP titled 'Love Fool'. The recordings cover all different versions of love; the good, the bad and even the ugly. Matty battles Love in all its forms on the recent release and he is not foolin' around folks!

The EP features four distinct tracks that are all unquestionably flavorful. I have to say that I would give 'Love Fool' a favorable review because the tracks all have that appeal factor. Right away on the title tack, "Love Fool", the listener will get hit with a Pop/Dance beat that is catchy as hell. The sound is lively & bubbly and will make you want to get out on the dance floor and break it down to "Love Fool". Next up is "I Got A Crush On You" that has a playful vibe and showcases Matty with a soft tone yet direct approach on vocals. Marz proves he has a little Fire & Soul to his step on this number and even threw in a few "F" bombs for good measure. Track three, "Pretty Boys", has Matty Marz calling all the shots and calling it for what it is. Matty is not mincing words here on this song and tells the audience just what these "Pretty Boys" are all about. The final track, "DirtBag", is my favorite number due to the hard rock edge AND the quality of content. I really dig the edgy guitar riff here with the hip-hop influence as it seemed to work really well. "DirtBag" certainly had the most impact from a lyrical standpoint because Matty Marz was spilling out his guts for all to hear. With lines like "Even when the world's against me I know my truth" OR "But I Love all of myself, let me make that clear", Matty truly embodies this concept of "DirtBag" in his own, personal way.

Matty Marz is comfortable in his own skin and this confidence comes across through the recordings & performance. Matty Marz does Matty Marz period and 'Love Fool' is a perfect example of that. I appreciate how Matty lays it all out there and isn't afraid to take risks musically & lyrically. I'd say it certainly paid off for Matty Marz on his new EP, but I also feel there is so much more to this 'Love Fool'. To be continued…
