New York, NY (Top40 Charts) Last week, rising Canadian country music star, Jade Eagleson, released his newest single, "
Lucky" via Universal Music. The new track arrived shortly after Eagleson's big night at the 2019 CCMA's, where he took home the award for Rising Star, and also performed his Gold certified single, "Got Your Name On It" on the national broadcast. The release comes in the form of a 2-pack, which includes brand new B-Side - "Good Country People".
"There are truly no words that could ever truly describe how thankful I am for all of the support I've received since day one. I'm VERY excited to release these songs to you guys," says Eagleson. "I truly feel that all of the music we are releasing stay true to country music in its entirety and represents who I am as a whole. I can't wait to continue this journey and continue to show you what else is cookin'.'"
At just 25 years of age, Jade Eagleson's voice takes listeners back to the days of Johnny Cash,
George Jones and Randy Travis, in that it's unmistakably country.
In August 2017, Eagleson was crowned the winner of the Boots & Hearts Emerging Artist showcase, beating out a lengthy list of other talented artists. Following the victory, Jade signed with Universal
Music and went on to record his debut single, "Got Your Name On It". The song garnered over 23 million streams and peaked at #6 at Canadian Country Radio. Shortly after the song's music video was released, Jade was featured as YouTube Trending's 'Artist On The Rise' and appeared on the website's homepage, which is the first time a Canadian-signed artist in any genre received such an honour. As a result, the music video for "Got Your Name On it" was streamed as much as half-a-million times in a 24-hour period and now has 5x more views than any other Canadian Country
Music Video released in 2018.
Late last year, Jade released his debut self-titled EP which includes two versions of the crowd favourite "Got Your Name On It", the breakup song "Count The Ways", and the timeless love song "Still Gonna Be You". The EP, garnered over 47 Million Streams after only two singles were released to radio. Following its release, Jade joined Gord Bamford on his 35-city Honkytonks & Dive Bars Tour across Canada before opening for The Reklaws on the Winter's A Beach Tour earlier this year.
